Peace and Blessings! My name is Aleena Aman, I am an Integrative Medicine and Health Science Masters Student here at Georgetown University from Dallas, Texas! I graduated from UTD with a double major in psychology and biology, and have worked in an integrative medical clinic in between classes. I’ve learned so much about whole-person healing through my own journey with SIBO and becoming a cyclist, so the opportunity to be an outreach coordinator for the MCGSO program feels like the best place for me. To be able to advocate for others and engage the community to live their best lives. I have so many ideas to share with you all, including free yoga sessions or community night-classes for health disparity conversations. My ability to perform to my best is as influenced by the inspiration from others as my own drive, so community means everything to me! In my free time, I love to spend time reading with my cat, cooking fresh meals, and being outside in any form!
